SEATTLE

Michal (link) and I went to Seattle.
I always heard from people that this city is very nice and all. It pretty much sucked. People there were almost all the time unfriendly, stressed and pissed off for some strange reason.
The first moments in the city were rather strange, for there wasnt many epople around and the city felt super dead.

We wanted to check out the Space needle and go up, but ridicolous 14 dollars to go up kinda left us grounded beneath, and we ended up walking around. The Music project seemed interesting but we didnt get inside. The building rocked tho, something like Gehry style.

We also went to the famous Public market which was also ok, lots of fich, lots of yelling people, and silly crafts.
Gelleries were kinda neat, we checked few and they looked nice, but again felt very empty and dead.
I was also hoping to see some street culture in the downton area: graffiti, street art, and other stuff.
We found almost nothing, except for the Gum wall and few stencils. Overall it felt like a concrete city with almost no green.
Later in the evening we did this special deal for bars and pubs where you get a cover stamp for 12 bucks and you can go to 9 bars with it. It was alright, fun at times, though it wasnt anything spectacular. Vancouver is much better.
so yah, overal feeling was rather dissapointing, it was still fun though. i give seattle 4 out of 10
